Kidney transplant surgery offers a chance to increase
the patient's quality of life. On October 10th, 2003, the first kidney
was successfully transplanted . The National Transplant Registration
granted a license to Poliplaza to practice kidney transplant, naming
expert nephrologist Dr. Alfredo Soto Dávila head manager of
the program. During the same month, Poliplaza Hospital was named
by the Transplant State Council headquarter of a kidney transplant
program involving cerebral death donors.
