Intensive Care Unit

  • Intensive Care, Pediatric and Neonatology Unit

For newborns, there are three main care areas: the cradle area for healthy newborns, a semi-intensive care area, and the intensive care unit for those patients that due to their gestation age or a certain pathology require special treatment and care for their recovery.

The intensive care unito for newborns has two of the most advanced thermal cradles, devices with state of the art technology to care for those babies, newborn to one month old, who present a delicate health situation. Eight more cradles and three modern incubators complete the newborn health installations. The 2004 project covers an extension to twice the actual capacity.

  • Intensive Adult Care Unit

There are three beds for intensive care and one for hemodialysis, to treat patients from the areas of surgery, child birth and internal medicine.
